These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Nikahwin ("we", "us"). They apply to our website, your invitations, the dashboard and all related features (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Your account

  • You must be at least 16 years old and give accurate information when you sign up.
  • One account is meant for one couple. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password secret.
  • Invitation addresses are first come, first served. Some names are reserved. We may reclaim an address that impersonates someone or is misleading or offensive.

2. Your invitation and content

  • You keep all rights to the text and photos you add ("Your Content"). You give us a licence to host and display Your Content only to run the Service. It ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from backup copies kept for a limited time.
  • You confirm that the details on your invitation are true and that you have permission to show the names, photos, addresses and phone numbers you add, including those of parents and family members.
  • Photos are linked from other services (for example ImgBB). You must have the right to share them.
  • Invitations are hidden from search engines by default, but anyone with your link can open them. Share your link with care, or use a password (Premium).

3. Guests, RSVP and wishes

  • Guests' RSVP replies and wishes are collected for you, the couple, to plan your wedding. You must use them only for that purpose and must not sell or share them.
  • You can read, hide and delete wishes and RSVP replies in your dashboard. You are responsible for wishes you choose to keep visible.

4. Things you must not do

You must not use the Service for fake invitations, scams or phishing (for example fake invitations used to collect money or install apps), spam, harassment or hate, sexual or violent content, content that breaks Malaysian law, or anything that infringes other people's rights. You must not attack, overload or scrape the Service, or get around our limits.

Warning about scams: Nikahwin invitations never ask guests to download an APK file or to enter banking passwords. Report any invitation that does at Report an invitation.

5. Money gifts

Bank details and QR codes on an invitation are provided by the couple. Any money gift is between the guest and the couple. Nikahwin does not handle payments between guests and couples and is not responsible for them.

6. Premium

Premium features, prices and limits are shown on our website. Unless stated otherwise, Premium is a one-off payment for one wedding and is non-refundable once activated, except where the law requires a refund.

7. Ads

Free invitations may show small ads, kept separate from your content.

8. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or remove invitations or accounts that break these Terms, with or without notice where the law allows.

9. Copyright complaints

If you believe content on Nikahwin infringes your copyright, send us the invitation address, a description of the work, your contact details and a statement that you are the owner or authorised to act, through our report page.

10. Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it running, but we do not guarantee it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for losses caused by the content of invitations, wrong event details, or guests' actions. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.

11. Changes and law

We may update these Terms and will show the new date at the top. These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
